Rated poorly because this was the most horrible service I ever had. Me and a friend of mine placed an order for two 10 dollar pizzas. The directions to the person taking my order was to charge my order to my credit card and the other party will pay cash upon delivery. It took well over an hour and half to receive my order. Once the delivery guy arrived I was kind of upset because he handed me two ice cold pizzas. Then he asked for the other parties payment. While the other party was paying for their order I looked at my reciept only to see that the person that took our order had placed the whole entire purchase on my debit card. I asked the delivery guy since when does one pizza cost 24.00 and he was like I didnt even notice the amount, but he was still wanting the other party to pay cash for their order. I told my friend not to give them anything because according to my reciept I just paid for the other pizza as well. I immediately called Free Wheeler and expressed my anger to the on duty manager. He appologized and assured me that he would refund the money to my card. I only use that card for recreation with my kids and there was not the much money on the card to cover the whole entire purchase thats why we ordered sepearate. The very next morning when I checked my account it showed the 24.00 purchase plus and additional 10.00 purchase from them. I went into the store myself to get some help from the Franchise Owner and he assured me that the money was being refunded in 3-5 business days. Well at this time everything in the account began to bounce. Now it is a week later and I ended up paying 36+ for a 10.00 pizza plus 56.00 in overdraft fees. The franchise owner keeps giving excuses when in my opinion all he had to do was refund their mistake and I would have let the whole entire thing go, but no I call him on a daily and nothing has happend yet. So unless you want to pay almost 100.00 for a 10.00 pizza I advise you not to order from Free Wheeler Pizza. Personally I fell robbed. These was the most horrible and most expensive service I ever got.

Everyone reading these reviews needs to know that there are some people out there with a personal axe to grind who are posting bad reviews on websites regarding Free Wheeler Pizza. If you are inclined to avoid Free Wheeler because of a bad review, please consider that. My advice is, and it won't cost you a dime, just some time: Go down there, meet the employees, see the store, watch them make a pizza and see what it looks like after it's cooked. They have nothing to hide and you get to make up your own mind rather than be swayed by someone who had personal issues with some of the employees.

Decor: Like a twenties butcher shop vibe. Love the composite plastic lawn furniture.

Food: Pizza smells way better than it tastes. Kind of the way of things are most of the time. Marinara sauce tastes like Heinz ketchup.

Lasagna is clearly of the Sysco variety not hommade...you can actually taste the aluminum foil.

Garlic rolls are hit or miss, mostly miss but it depends on whether they drain the olive oil and put enough parm on them. I do not trust them to make them right--I don't order them any more.

Lots of toppings usually on the undercooked and almost-rotten side. I had some eggplant that almost made my mouth bleed it was so hard.

Service: Sloppy. Messed up our order like three times in a row.

Couldn't offer decent pizza combo recommendation. The answer for everything is the Big Wheeler, it is just an orgy of toppings that don't go together and are frequently poorly cooked, either under or over.

Wait and phone people appear to be stressed and unhappy with their jobs.

Probably won't be back unless I am taken there kicking and screaming.

My wife and I get into really big debates about just how bad free wheeler pizza really is. I say it's the crust and garlic rolls that really mess with my stomach. She says it's the pizza sauce and toppings that make her almost retch. Either way, the presentation, cooking, and ingredients all combine to create the absolute worst pizza ever!! About 10 years ago we loved it but since moving back to SL, it is so bad we regretfully do not order anymore. Just go somewhere else--it's that horrible!!!
